From activity to company
Operations began in 2016; the company was incorporated in 2019. GSR works in naval decommissioning, industrial dismantling and reverse logistics, based in Gradim, São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro.
Facilities
- Gradim site
- A base in Gradim on the north-east shore of Guanabara Bay, with a yard and quay. Usable areas, support facilities and receiving conditions are verified for the asset and scope.
- Location
- Guanabara Bay, with waterborne access through the bay and road access via the BR-101 — around 180 km from the Campos Basin.
- Specialist partners
- Hauliers, destinations and specialist providers are selected according to the materials. Permits, scope and availability must be verified before mobilization.
- Team and equipment
- Teams and cutting and handling equipment are sized for each project. Allocation of owned or third-party resources depends on the proposal and confirmed availability.
The existence of a facility does not establish availability for every asset. Draft, berthing, access, permits and receiving capacity require specific verification. The deep-water annex and expansions are not presented as available infrastructure.

Executive with a background in real assets, infrastructure and financial structuring. MSc candidate in Industrial Engineering at PUC-Rio, MBA in Economic and Financial Engineering (UFF) and executive education at the Harvard Kennedy School. Keynote speaker at FGV Energia in 2024 on Brazil's decommissioning market.
Mobilization defined by scope
Team and equipment composition depend on the asset, site conditions and execution window. Work outside Rio de Janeiro, specialist partners and additional resources must be confirmed before contracting.
